We spend years and a tremendous amount of energy to educate and develop our conscious mind, so we can adapt to our everyday life. On the other side, our subconscious remains unexplored and even more important, its resources remain unused. Hypnosis brings an exciting opportunity that offers the possibility to explore, acknowledge and uses one’s subconscious, with all its extraordinary, sometimes dark, and powerful aspects.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis derived from the Greek word, “sleep”, is an altered state of consciousness brought in an individual by the use of a combination of relaxation, concentration, expectation, and suggestion.

Hypnosis or hypnotic trance is a natural state that we all go into during the everyday life when we let our mind to wonder (day dreaming) and focus on some ideas, thoughts or images. It is a medically approved tool in the USA.

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the process of using hypnosis with the purpose of producing profound change in thoughts or/and behavior through the power of one’s mind. This means that the change can happen without a long term therapy. It is completely safe, no side effects and is a well respected, scientifically researched discipline.

U.S. Department of Labor gives a definition of a Hypnotherapist: “a therapist who utilizes hypnosis as a primary tool for assisting clients to achieve their goals. A hypnotherapist often differs from other therapists by focusing on the role of subconscious behaviors and influences on a client’s life.”

Does hypnosis really works?

During hypnosis the physical body and the conscious mind are in a relaxed state and the subconscious mind remains in a heightened state of suggestibility. The result of this process is that the conscious mind and the subconscious mind reach an agreement.

Can hypnosis help me stop……….?

You are the controlling factor and I’m the facilitator. It’s always through your own effort that change occurs; I’m here to guide you.

Will this help me to get to the “root cause” of a problem?

You decide where you go. My job is to get you there.

I saw a stage hypnosis show and it sure looked like the people on stage were under some kind of mind control. What’s that about?

You won’t do anything that you do not think is acceptable. You cannot be “made” to violate your own values or accepted patterns of behavior.

I think I’m very analytical, so it’d probably be difficult to hypnotize me, right?

Anyone can be hypnotized, anyone with an open mind, reasonable intelligence, and the ability to concentrate.

What if I can’t be hypnotized?

Hypnosis is a natural state that you enter several times a day.

What will I feel? What does it feel like to be hypnotized?

Hypnosis is a sleep-like state, similar to that feeling between knowing that you are awake and going into the sleep state; it is a very pleasant feeling of complete physical and mental relaxation.

What should I expect during a session?

You “should” expect to be guided into a state of relaxation of your mind and body, so avoid excessive caffeine and wear comfortable clothes.

How often should the sessions be done? How many sessions do I need?

Change can happen in as little as one session, but each individual is unique and their needs differ. There are instances where one may need  four to six sessions, and possibly even more if one is doing a special program.
**Ask me about my special programs**

How long is each session?

Between sixty to ninety minutes.

Is there a guarantee? How will I know it worked?

There are no guarantees, but with the belief and desire, you will achieve the results.

What if I get stuck in hypnosis?

If you were left in trance state by your hypnotherapists or by your hypnotic tape, you would either return to full consciousness on your own , or enter in a natural sleep and awaken after a pleasant nap.

Can you help me forget a terrible experience I went through?

I can’t make you forget an experience, but I can help you to change the energy surrounding that memory; I can help you relate in a different way to that experience.

Will I remember what happened during the hypnosis? What if I go to sleep?

Usually you will be able to remember your hypnosis experience, but there may be occasions where you won’t remember the experience or you will go to sleep. These don’t mean that your subconscious mind won’t do the work.

What if I recall something in hypnosis that is awful and I hadn’t remembered it before?

Then, from a safe and secure place, we can change the energy connected with that experience.
